Adam,

Just saw your post--for some reason it did not register on my comments screen--so sorry for the delay. Are you seriously considering that I not believe in the Trinity? The word is not what matters what matters is the essence of God in three--Father, Son and Spirit. You have mentioned a couple of passages, one that truly has nothing at all to do with the subject (Mat 4:45) and left out a whole host of passages that inextricably link the three as one. John 4:23-24 is a great passage but again, your making an argument from silence--the passage does not say we are not to worship Jesus and the Holy Spirit it merely emphasizes that we worship the Father in spirit and truth. One could just as easily conclude we are to worship the Son and Spirit accordingly. Furthermore, to make a case against the Trinity makes a case against the Father Himself!! For example, blasphemy of the Holy Spirit would not be an unpardonable sin if the Spirit did not have the authority and validity of the Father. Perhaps it is even better to acknowledge that it is pointless for the Father to give the Son the audacity to claim oneness if it is not so!

Perhaps these thoughts will help!

Yours For Him,

Dan

Greetings Dan York

As for GOD blessing trinitarians,
remember:
(Mat 5:45) … for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

(Acts 14:15-18) And saying, Sirs, why do ye these things? We also are men of like passions with you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from these vanities unto the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein: 16 Who in times past suffered all nations to walk in their own ways. 17 Nevertheless he left not himself without witness, in that he did good, and gave us rain from heaven, and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness. 18 And with these sayings scarce restrained they the people, that they had not done sacrifice unto them.

(And that was because the Lycaonians believed in incarnations!
Hmmm.)

So yes, GOD indeed does bless!
And will keep on blessing, nevertheless:
(John 4:23-24) … the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Solely GOD, the Father, ought to be worshiped as Almighty GOD and Him alone.
Yes, there is worship applicable to His Son, being Messiah, Lord and King.
(See
The Worship of Christ
&
Defining the Term “Worship”)

Therefore, Dan,
On the subject of the Trinity,
I recommend this video:
The Human Jesus

Take a couple of hours to watch it; and prayerfully it will aid you to reconsider “The Trinity”

Yours In Messiah
Adam Pastor
